Fumakilla Vape One Push V: The Orange-Peel-Scented Mosquito Repellent in One Small Can

The One Push V in its habitat.
I am forever killing mosquitoes; it is an ongoing effort and I’ve never stopped. The fight is never ending with these buzzing, blood-sucking creatures and this time all I need is a push.

The marketing push [see what I did there] for the Fumakilla Vape One Push V is that one push of the spray is all you need to protect yourself or loved ones, or anyone around the vicinity really, from mosquitoes.

But what had me sold was that it emitted a really pleasant smell that reminded me of a freshly-peeled orange. Specifically, it reminded of the first scent you get when you peel a mandarine orange.

But of course there was no way of finding that out before it was sold. But imagine if that was its selling point - a mosquito repellent that smells like a freshly peeled orange. Not that bad I think, but it doesn't quite have that pull... or push [oh shut up!].

Anyway, I bought it out of curiosity. It comes in a tiny can and one push is apparently all you need to kill and keep mosquitoes away.

I'm not a giant; the can is that small.
The first time, I cheated and pushed the spray twice. I don't know if it was twice as effective but it seemed to be doing its job either with one or two push, but obviously the bigger the room/area the more you need to, I guess.

That time it left a colourless liquid on my finger, which I wish it never had, but it wasn’t that bothersome; it happened a few more times afterwards but not often.

The way you use it is that: you go to the middle of the room, spray the aerosol upwards once [preferably at an angle and not directly upwards], and leave the room for a few minutes, preferably with the doors and windows shut.

I was expecting the smell to go away quickly but it lingered for about an hour or so.

Now I can’t say definitively if it gave a twelve-hour protection with one push. All I can say is that I did not notice any mosquitoes while I was using the repellent.

Did I say it was small?
I have since bought two more cans. But I have to say that I prefer the electric vapour mosquito repellent to this because the protection is continuous and I don’t have to remember when I last used it, which is the case with the One Push V; because sometimes I want protection outside of bedtime, or a specific time period. But of course you can still use the aerosol whenever you like, not necessarily at the end of a twelve-hour timeframe.

But that orange peel though. I wish Fumakilla would package that scent in their electric vapours. I know I would be a loyal user.
